Since grade school, Kevin has shown an incredible interest in the technical side of web development. Interning for a high profile, Miami-based marketing firm as an eighth-grader fine-tuned his programming skills and provided him with a solid foundation for a web development career.
Following and reaching out to some of his favorite bands, merchandise designers and web designers, Kevin was able to build a strong, freelance client base while nurturing long-lasting professional relationships.
Kevin utilized his closely knit circle of friends and clients to rapidly expand and promote his custom band web site content management system, dubbed “The Pantry,” under the moniker “thewebguy.”
While attending UCF, The Pantry amassed 50+ clients, including gold and platinum record selling artists, and as his business grew, so did his programming skill level and technique. Kevin joined the AKT team by chance when he noticed a programming job flyer posted on the UCF campus in Orlando, FL.
After six months of freelancing for StudioAKT, Kevin’s forward-thinking approach to new ideas and new business lead to his involvement in AKT’s District Lines start up. With Kevin’s help, District Lines has become one of AKT’s most lucrative and successful companies to date.
As Chief Information Officer of AKT Enterprises, Kevin’s technical background and always-fresh outlook on production are essential to maintain the consistent and exponential growth at AKT.
